Headteacher's Welcome
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Randlay Primary School & Nursery’s website and to a school where the key to our mission statement is simply, ‘Working Together as One’.
Here at Randlay School we welcome children, their parents and carers into a friendly, happy and hardworking environment where respect for others, positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are encouraged and nurtured. Randlay School is a school where all children are valued and where all staff work hard to help every child reach his or her full potential. Children work in a very caring, stimulating school environment and respond well to the schools positive discipline policy and the school’s ethos of respect for all.
All members of staff here at Randlay Primary School & Nursery, both teaching and non- teaching, are committed to providing a broad, balanced and relevant education for all the children within a supportive and caring environment. They seek to build the self-esteem of all children through a policy of equal opportunity. All staff work hard to ensure that relationships throughout the school are based on mutual trust and respect as the school strongly believes that it is through secure relationships that the children respond with positive attitudes and understanding of their work and to others.
The parent body is very supportive of the school and works in close partnership with the school philosophy, that all children have a right to succeed and that all children have a right to an excellent education.
Parents are encouraged to take part in their children’s education and are welcome into school whenever possible.
If you would like to know more about our school then please contact the school’s Administrator, Mrs Sue Beale who will be happy to send you a School Prospectus or arrange an appointment for you to meet with me and view the school.
With best wishes
